How Hurricanes Form

Picture
The Formation of  a hurricane requires 6 factors.
-Water temperatures must reach 80 degrees fahrenheit in order to produce.
-When the warm water meets shallow depth, the atmosphere creates thunderstorms and convection(transfer of hear through fluid) activity. Thunderstorms are produced because combination of warm water and shallow depth causes the atmosphere in the area to become unstable.
-The clouds increase, causing the hurricane to cool rapidly which gives the hurricane more energy.
-Higher Humidity is needed to form more clouds in order to keep its cyclone activity.
- Windshears must maintain at low levels, or else hurricane cyclone will loose its convection and stop its rotation.
-The Coriolis effect starts the spinning of the storm around the eye. The Coriolis effect  is known as the counter-clockwise winds that make water sink and create a spinning effect.
